We own portfolios Tax Sale
Certificates and non-performing mortgages, acquired from other organizations.
We diligently "work out" each asset until it is repaid, or we acquire title to the underlying real
estate.
A sister company holds, renovates, and manages our own portfolio of
income-producing real estate throughout New Jersey. We've been rehabilitating
non-performing real estate equities for
over ten years. Our properties are well maintained and financially responsible.
We occasionally work on behalf of others, although most of the time we're acting
as principals.
For over ten years we've been successfully locating, analyzing, rehabilitating
and managing distressed real estate. We've acquired assets from banks, tax lien
traders, individuals, and municipalities. We've bought single assets, and
portfolios, in New Jersey.
We've earned the cooperation and respect of government officials, professionals
and other business people by always acting openly, ethically, promptly, and
reliably. We'll be pleased to furnish appropriate references on request.

Cherokee Equities LLC is a Limited
Liability Company formed and domiciled in New Jersey.
Cherokee Equities LLC shares office space and a phone number with other
"Cherokee" business entities, and some individuals are involved in
multiple "Cherokee" activities. However, be advised that Cherokee
Equities LLC is a separate legal entity from any others, and similarities in the
names or otherwise is for convenience, but does not imply or confer any
cross-responsibility or other connection.
We have our own in-house real estate brokerage, Quest Commercial, Inc., a licensed New Jersey real estate broker, and a New Jersey corporation. Charlotte Cohen is the Broker of Record.
We responsibly
convert non-performing assets into productive real estate.
